On Thursday we were headed out the door to meet some friends at the school to play & have lunch. While loading up in the car we noticed Pudge was watching something very intently in the grass while making a low growling noise. He had come across the fattest caterpillar I've ever seen & the caterpillar was wiggling & flipping around trying to escape. Pudge has a complex about being small so he feels the need to threaten anything that he can...which led to the fact that we now have no kittens...
Anyway, he scooped the fat caterpillar up in his mouth and started to wander away from us but soon the fat caterpillar was back in the grass after Pudge quickly spat it out. I guess caterpillar is as tasty as it looks.
We rescued the fat caterpillar & put him in a cup & hid him in the garage until we came home. Then we set him free in the planter box, but not before he crawled all over Owen's sandal...
That evening we were able to get a load of our stuff out of the storage unit & then we got another load Saturday evening after mowing the lawn, taking dinner to a couple that just had a baby, sorting through the first load of stuff, & other things that are even less exciting than that.
On Sunday we had a family over that had us over last week, he is the village town chiropractor & they have a 7 year old daughter & a 3 year old son. The boys loved having friends over & we enjoyed getting to know them better, even if the wasps did try to eat our food.
Anyway, it was a pretty low-key weekend but we got a lot done & it's so nice to finally have our own things around the house. It's actually begining to feel a bit more like home.

Would love to see some photos of what the house looks like with your "stuff" in it!
