Owen is now a week old and it's been a crazy 6 days since we brought him home. Ethan, Kamden, and I all got colds and we are just now getting over them but it hasn't exactly been a picnic around here...but I'm very greatful we are begining to feel better.
Monday Owen had a doctor appointment and he was down to 8lbs. 13oz. and is doing really well. He's a good sleeper and a great eater, and he has two big brothers that love to help take care of him. Ethan even drew him this picture and hung it on the side of the bassinet.
Monday evening my grandmother passed away but it's a blessing to know that she's no longer in pain. She will deffinatley be missed but what a comfort to know she's with loved ones.
Life is begining to feel a bit more "normal" and we really appreciate the meals that have been brought in, the help we've received, and the love and support.

Your dad told me that your grandma was very ill. It's a blessing to know that she's in a place where she will feel no pain any more, and can do the things she's wanted to do.
