HAPPY EASTER!

We hurried off to church yesterday morning, but not without leaving a note for the Easter Bunny to hide the plastic eggs we left on the counter along with the eggs in the fridge. Before we got home, Ethan started asking where the eggs were and what the Easter Bunny's name was. When we got home he spotted a few eggs in the yard but we told him to hurry inside and get his Easter Basket. It was in the kitchen full of goodies. He and Kamden each got a bubble wand and a big container of bubbles, a new plate and matching bowl, some crazy straws (they like to drink chocolate milk with straws but we only had two, thank goodness the Easter Bunny is so thoughtful!) and LOTS of candy. They were a little hard to convince when we told them to empty out the baskets and go back outside, but we finally got them there.
Ethan was so funny, running all over the yard and not being able to decide which egg to go for first. If you watch the slideshow and look at his expressions, they're pretty funny.
Kamden didn't want to put the eggs in the basket at first, he didn't really understand that there were a lot of them so he wanted to hold onto the first few he found. Eventually he got the hang of it and would drop them right in once he grabbed them. When we were getting close to having found them all, Ethan started helping Kamden and would take his hand and lead him around the yard, trying to find another egg.
Almost all of the eggs were found, there are about 2 or 3 that have gone M.I.A. and are unaccounted for. The Easter Bunny might have to start mapping out where he hides the eggs. After the egg hunt we went back inside and the boys had some candy, ate an egg, and played with their bubbles. Then it was naptime!
