This afternoon we colored our Easter Eggs...well, the ones that didn't end up cracked, anyway. The ones that did crack, we put in those shrink-wrap things that come in the Dye Kits. Everytime we'd get ready to dunk an egg into the boiling water, Ethan would tell it "Bye-Bye!" and then when we took the egg out of the water he'd tell us how "cute" it was.
We made an egg for each member of our family and Ethan helped decide which color to make everyone's egg. After the eggs came out of the dye, he'd get really excited and start talking so fast I could hardly understand what he was saying. He'd tell Kamden all about the egg, what was written on it, what color it was, and how "mommy did a good job" and Ethan was "her good helper".
Kamden helped a little but he got hungry so he spent most of his time in the high chair eating lunch.
After the eggs dried, Ethan helped choose which stickers to put on which egg. His egg ended up with two of each: basketball, football, soccerball, and baseball. He also put a sheep on his and a few other random things but he was most excited about the different sports stickers.
In the pictures, Ethan is wearing his cousin Logan's old outfit that he got for Easter when he was little. Logan is now 14, so the outfit is a little old. We tried it on this morning but didn't put a shirt under the vest and Ethan has been saying it's his 'girl' outfit. We took the vest off and threw it in the washer but he's still got the shorts on.
