Last weekend we packed up the car and made the drive to visit Jeff's family. The plan was to stay Friday through Tuesday but Kamden had other plans for us. Our first night there he slept in a playpen and didn't go to sleep until 2:30am and even after that he didn't sleep very good. On Saturday we set up the crib and he slept the entire night, so we thought he'd be fine the rest of the weekend. Wrong! Sunday night all he did was scream for what felt like hours until he calmed down and wanted to play, then he would repeat the entire process. So we ended up cutting the trip short and we drove home on Monday.
We had a good time while we were there and on Saturday we drove up in the mountains to go sledding. That didn't last very long since it was so cold but we still had fun! It was nice to see everyone and to spend a few days visiting, but we've also really enjoyed being able to sleep without Kamden screaming the last two nights!
