Lagoon Pictures

Jeff and I took Ethan to Lagoon in Farmington, Utah during July. We set our tent up in the campground next to the park and my youngest brother, Jeff, and his girlfriend, Erin, drove down later that day. We went to Lagoon on Friday and it was pretty funny to watch Ethan try to decide which ride he wanted to go on first. Some of his favorites were the train ride, bumper cars, and the little cars that go around on a track.
The first time he went on the bumper cars, Ethan had so much fun that when the ride ended, he ran around to the gate and got back on again. He did that about five times in a row before I could talk him into trying something else.

On Saturday morning Ethan's Grandma and Grandpa Stoker drove to Lagoon and brought his Uncle Brian with them.

Grandpa really likes to play the Skee Ball Game, so Ethan and Jeff stopped and played a few games with him.

We also played Whac-a-mole, trying to win a big Elmo for Ethan. I think we ended up spending over $25 by the time we finally got enough points to get it!

The funniest part of the trip was when we rode the train with Jeff and Erin. Ethan saw the ostriches and for some reason he thought they were hysterical and he couldn't stop laughing. Luckily I got a picture of him because it was pretty cute!

It was also really funny watching my husband, my father-in-law, and my brother's girlfriend strapped into harnesses and flung through the air when they rode the Sky Coaster. I'm still not sure who screamed the loudest!

We went into Lagoon-A-Beach, but it was so hot that everyone wanted to be there. It was pretty crowded and Ethan wanted a tube so we went to get one but there was a line of people waiting for others to bring tubes back, so we went back out to ride more rides. By that time, there was a line to get into the Lagoon-A-Beach. We cooled off throughout the day by running through the big fountain near the entrance to the park and we went to Lagoon-A-Beach a little later in the day after it had cleared out some. Ethan waited with Grandma and Grandpa while the rest of us went on Lagoon's new ride, Wicked. When we got off, we took Ethan so Grandma and Grandpa could go on it. I lost my sunglasses and Jeff lost his hat, but it was fun. Jeff went back later and they'd gotten his hat for him but they said it's too hard to find sunglasses in there.

Here are some more of Ethan's favorite rides:
